Employees are now required to strictly abide by environmental friendly activities like recycling paper and plastics, purchasing green products for the office etc. While these activities were supported by the company it was not a required law until now.
“As a company we wanted to learn and utilize better methods to improve our business practices and processes not only to serve our customers, but also to better protect the environment we live in,” says Matt McKinney, Canadian Web Hosting’s Director of Operations.
To make itself an official green company, Canadian Web Hosting Company registered itself with the Green Business Bureau (GBB).

According to McKinney, the company will develop a positive atmosphere by carrying out activities that are environment friendly. He hopes this move will set an example for the companies, his business partners with. By going green, the organization plans to:
- Create an example for all workers to boost the faith they have in the company
- Build a bridge between Canadian Web Hosting Company and all the competition by expressing its concern for the environment with its green practices.
- Make the company more efficient by reducing the costs of operation and minimizing waste which will enable them to offer their clients better deals.
- Develop an atmosphere that is environment friendly as well as healthy.
