Data Center Operator Infinity Welcomes New Chief Marketing Officer

The data centre operator, Infinity, revealed on Monday that it has appointed Nigel Stevens as the new chief marketing officer when “Infinity aims to reinforce its brand presence, positioning and product strategies in order to accelerate its path towards significant market share in the UK,” according to the press release.

The organization had recently launched its new data center in Slough, West London. They had also named Ian McKenzie the new chairman and John Belton as head of delivery.

Stevens will be undertaking different tasks in his new role namely PRs, sales, communal identity, brand strategy and analyst relations. He will also be undertaking strategies along with lead generation direction, events and market initiatives.

 CEO of Infinity, Marta Lynch, had this to say, “The addition of talented individuals like Nigel demonstrates our commitment to strengthening our UK business and adds significant knowledge and leadership experience to our growing sales and marketing teams. We are specifically targeting executives like Nigel for their breadth of experience that will be vital to the development of our sales and marketing strategy.”

With over 25 years of experience in senior management positions for related companies, Stevens has worked in both the UK and USA. Besides this, he has also worked at Global Crossing, where he was appointed as CMO EMEA.

Before he joined the company, he was appointed as product director at Cable and Wireless Worldwide where he was responsible for marketing, product management, sale cost and marketing. He was also in the executive level at British Telecom North America, Concert Communications and THUS.
