Enteracloud & Time Warner Team Up to Provide Customized Cloud Solutions in Southern California

It appears that pretty soon privately hosted clouds will increase dramatically in number. In a statement on Friday, Enteracloud announced that it is teaming up with none other than Time Warner Cable, to provide customized cloud solutions to customers in Southern California.

The target market includes Enterprise customers and small businesses. Enteracloud plans to utilize its cloud based solutions, with Time Warner Cable’s reliable fiber interconnection services.

Enteracloud CTO Tim Doscher said, “we are very excited to announce our partnership with Time Warner Cable to deliver an enterprise class private hosted cloud offering that only a provider with such a high concentration of fiber connectivity to Southern California can provide.”

The partnership seems to be a welcome sign for SMEs and would definitely boost private clouds, with simpler solutions for building customized private clouds. This is likely to result in maximize business value for Southern California businesses. Perhaps this venture will also be expanded to other locations in the near future.

Enteracloud provides a number of services, which are quite different in nature to its cloud based solutions; these include: IaaS, virtualization, data center colocation and others. In fact, earlier in July, Enteracloud proclaimed plans to increase its San Diego data center facility. Enteracloud also has other data centers located in pivotal locations such as Los Angeles and Phoenix.

Time Warner Cable’s Greg Wisniewski provided more details about the deal, saying, “Time Warner Cable is working with Enteracloud to further advance our goal to become the destination for cloud enablement for our customers.”
