fatcow is sucks I am sure from that they telling you that you have monthly bandwidth 100 TB and unlimited space but in the real if you used more than 1 TB they delete your account they are sucks web hosting I tried them myself and they deleted my account without warning or telling me that just deleted my account what this web hosting who deleting account without warning the account owner really I will not see bad service like them fatcow cheap but not good one of the most bad hosting services which got ever in my life it’s stilling they made me pay for account and after less than 2 months took my account without warning me what is this is there any hosting ever can do that I don’t know about the others but this exactly what happened to me
Fatcow is a hilarious looking site but its legit too. I’ve only got a couple thou uniques a month right now but I built my site with their tools in less than an hour.
I was a little pissed with FatCow when I first started. I had some issues and their customer support rep had me on the phone for 10 minutes because of billing issues. They ended up apologizing profusely and gave me the year for free because their error. Usually don’t write reviews but I thought this was worth mentioning.
I’ve really enjoyed working with fatcow compared to all my previous webhosts. FTP is smooth and quick, MySQL works without any bugs, and the control panel has lots of useful tools.
I just had the worst experience with FatCow! They offer the 30 day refund and when you try to get the refund within 30 days, they say they will but they don’t! I had to call back 3 times before they issued my refund! To top that off, they took my domain when I asked them about transfer information! I will be adding my complaint to the already existing list of complaints they have with the Better Business Bureau! Research the BBB and you will find out that as of 5/01/10, they have had 128 complaints regarding billing within the last 36 months and I will be another to make it 129. Who knows how many else they had prior! They are horrible to deal with and FatCow should be closed!!!
I have had great experiences with FatCow. They have been outstanding with all my newbie questions (tons of them) and got me set up super quick. Their CS is outstanding and attentive to my needs 100%. I did a ton of research, and they offer the most for the money. My website loads quickly and with so many options I still have not utilized all that is offered. I have received great feedback for the look and feel of my site from others and have nothing bad to say about FatCow. If you have a new business that you need to get online with low overhead, don’t know much about building a website and want a great quality website, excellent CS and attentiveness, with FatCow is where you need to be. I am so grateful I found them. Thanks FatCow!
Fatcow is a wonderful site! They are quick to help you with anything you need. The control panels are easy to navigate. The only complaint we have is that the pricing is difficult to keep up with. It keeps changing and we did not like that instability. Overall, Fatcow rocks!
Awesome web host! easy to use, great features
This site has been active with Fat Cow for a little over 3 years now. I created and update the site for a friend of mine and we have been very satisfied with Fat Cow. Their support team has been very helpful on the occasions when I have need them. I have had no problems with billing or the site being unavailable and they offer a wide variety of tools to help in building a site. I have recommended Fat Cow to anyone who asks me about web hosting.
Fat cow asked me for review in exchange for a credit, so there it is but I am going to be as honest as possible.
The good first: the website runs great. When I add content it’s live immediately. That’s all I want.
The less good: I first wrote my web site in HTML and uploaded it. My pictures did not show because I wrote the extension as .JPEG and not.jpeg in the code (amateur here, sorry). Their tech support was incapable of trouble shooting it. They did send me an email to say they were sorry about and that the technician was going back to training.
After that my brother took over and wrote the site in PHP and used joomla to run it. It took some work with customer support to get joomla accepted but he was persistent and got it done (now it seems they accept it as feature service).
So in summary, a little hard to get started, great to maintain.
I have used Fatcow for hosting for 10 years. Their best aspect is their customer support. I have had many iterations of my site over the last ten years and they have helped every step of the way. I think with the shared hosting the site might be a tad slower than others, but overall it is worth it for the price and support.
As a shared hosting provider, FatCow is great at reducing the cost of maintaining a small business website or ten. While some features common with other hosting companies such as root drive directory access above ‘public_html’ and cPanel are lacking from FatCow’s interface, their own Control Panel is clean, intuitive, and, to be perfectly honest, a whole lot more pretty than the ‘ol cPanel interface.
I’ve never had to contact customer service as of yet, but they do send out emails during any hardware upgrade maintenance and such. I surely don’t expect them to help with the ins-and-outs of designing my website – Google searches are much better suited for that sort of thing.
FatCow does offer many coupons and specials from time – a little TOO many if you ask me, since most returning customers can’t take any advantage of them for their current hosting plan, just new ones get the deals.
I’ve been with FatCow since May 2010 and they have been my first and only hosting provider. To be brutally honest, I’m a sucker for the cow motif, which is probably the second greatest reason I chose to host and continue with them. I’ve never had a need to search for anything else!
I switched to FatCow on Sept. 2009, after having tried two other (local) hosting companies, one year each, with pretty dismal results (due to uptime & customer support).
FatCow has worked far better for me these two years (I haven’t changed companies and am planning to renew once more). The control panel is extremely easy to use, the uptime pretty flawless as far as I can tell, and the people at customer service (through online chat) have been great and very patient so far. The one thing I find somewhat lacking are the e-mail features and customization options. Other than that, I strongly recommend their service.

Their support is superb. They respond very quickly to queries. They are also very responsive to your feedback and don’t bullshit you, unlike other companies I have encountered.
Their control panel is very user friendly and easy to navigate and use. You don’t need to be a genius to figure things out.
In short, FatCow is a really good webhost and definitely worth every cent.
