Web host Lunarpages Internet Solutions made their new channel partner program public this past week, which is created to assist IT consultants, value added resellers, system integrators, agencies as well as SaaS companies along with others.
The 3,500 square feet of space that Lunarpages added this previous month at their Latisys data center in Irvine, California, has made this move possible.
The channel partner program will be centered around partners that will refer or resell Lunarpages’ colocation, dedicated, managed hosting services and cloud offerings. This partnership will allow the partners to be able to solidify their relationships and become a trusted advisor, through Lunarpages’ services.
With a customer base of more than a million and a half, Lunarpages plans to develop strategic partnerships to extend their services so that they will be able to fulfill the requirements of their customers.
Lunarpages is reported to have said that this program was developed with the primary objective of making the typical hosting channel partner program easier by getting rid of the constraints on compensation and simplifying its management. The partners will be the recipients of 15 percent of the commissions or credits on an Evergreen model that will also encompass the customer upgrades.

This new channel partner program provides many advantages to the partners like access to dedicated sales account managers, pre-sales and post technical resources, discounts to referred clients, 15 percent Evergreen commission, not to mention the commissions on upgrades.
