On October 4th, Hostway, a web hosting firm introduced its latest Channel Partner Program, aimed at making it easy for every type and size of channel partners to provide web hosting and cloud services of Hostway to their customers. According to the press release, this Channel Partner Program, by the web hosting company, was developed actually to fulfill the requirement of technology resellers.
The system consists of four layers, which enable channel partners to use a variety of technical support and sales resources, offering prizes and rebates in fulfilling any specific requirement.
This program is going to enable the channel partners to expand their customer base and provide dedicated partner-specific telephone help in order to have a direct access to technical support helpdesk for resolving their problems.
Hostway’s Vice President of sales, Dave McCrossen, states, “the cloud hosting and infrastructure-as-a-service industries are poised for unprecedented growth over the next several years. “Hosting companies will not create or support this growth alone – technology developers, aggregators, resellers and influencers will drive growth. As a result, we have deployed a channel program that addresses the needs and concerns of these new participants in the hosting industry so that they can instantly share in the rewards of the marketplace growth.”
As stated in the Press Release, because of this association with Treehouse Interactive, channel partners can now use a portal, holding sales & marketing collateral materials, real-time commission tracking & opportunity registration and marketing resources.
This program is unique as it needs no particular targets related to profits or up-front contracts.
Hostway’s channel partner programs Director Russell Griffin states, “other programs make you hit certain thresholds before the discounts and commissions kick in. But, with Hostway, our channel partners are rewarded for their performance from day one. From the moment you sign up, we provide the tools, resources and discounted pricing you need to succeed in building your business.”
