Now, Here’s an overview of what the infographic is trying to tell!

1. Keyword Research: The Competition for Keywords depends on the length of the word most of the times. Smaller the word, higher the competition.

2. Site Architecture & Structure: An important point has be made here. If you think a certain webpage is more important than the other within your website, then you need to make sure it is well linked from the homepage as well as other pages of your site. Just remember “Google does not rank websites, they rank Pages”

3. On-page Optimisation: Be sure to make use of keywords in URLs, Page Title tags(), Image Filenames, Body Text, Page Headings h1-h2, Image Alt attributes and use Bold & italic text to highlight important keywords.

4. Off-Page Link Building: Be Aggressive with Internal page linking, Guest Posting on related Blogs, LinkBait, Directory submissions, Analyzing Competitors websites, Profile Pages from Social Networks & Forums. And also asking bloggers to review about your website or service would be great in bringing additional visitors.

5. SEO Tactics: A graph with the Good, Bad and ugly things in SEO can bee seen here. Concentrate more on XML sitemap creation, Keyword research & on-page optimisation.

6. The Social Media Effect: A simple tweet or a facebook share can generate sometimes millions of visitors to your website. Yes, thats the power of social media. Be sure to use it wisely.

7. SEO vs PPC: Here we need to understand that the no. of users clicking on the search results is higher than the no. of people who prefer PPC links. Hence the importance of SEO Services is evident especially for busy webmasters!

  3. A helpful post – this reminder is especially important with today’s competitive landscape in terms of SEO. “Google does not rank websites, they rank Pages”.

That is, in my opinion, one of the reasons that blogging is so essential to the overall search engine results.

The creators of Thesis released a premium plugin several months ago – ScribeSEO – that makes it easier for a novice to utilize and implement SEO into their site and posts.

Additionally with twitter updates showing in real-time Google results it’s often the little things that count in getting higher rankings.
