The company is one of the primary organizations in cloud computing and managed hosting services. The other two data centers are located in Raleigh and Cary, N.C.; Boston, Mass.; Newton, Iowa; State College and Ephrata, Pa.; Jacksonville, Fla.; Atlanta, Ga.; and Nashville, Tenn.
Some of the services offered by Windstream Hosted Solutions include, recovery of data in case of emergency to ensure a consistent running of business, compliance of SaaS, guarding the confidential IT systems and applications of customers. The basic framework of the company’s data center is developed in a manner which ensures very high security to customers at low operating costs and much smaller risk of downtime.

The main data center by Windsteam was inaugurated in Charlotte in the year 2003. The latest data center provides the company an additional 7,200 square foot center space to further escalate the critical load capacity of Windstream by 35 percent in the market. Being powered by the city’s main power grid lines, there is very little chance of downtime in case of power failures.
A limitless 2N power distribution is combined with very efficient cooling systems to create the new data center’s design. The simple design for power distribution ensures uninterrupted power supply which can easily be maintained.
