One of the global providers of ICT services announced today of launching two new data centers in Malaysia and Singapore. The names of the two servers are Singapore Serangoon Data Center and Malaysia Cyberjaya 3 Data Center. Singapore Serangoon Data Center is aimed towards companies that offer financial services and other organizations that need low latency networks.
These are the only two self-designed data centers of NTT Communications outside Japan. NTT Communications aims to rely on these data centers for its growth within the Asia Pacific region. The company already operates around 13 data centers in this region.
Singapore Serangoon Data Center will be based in North Eastern Singapore. This will be a tier III data center that offers several services including cloud services, web hosting, co-location, and global networking services. One of the key features of this data center is that it has been directly connected to Asia Submarine-cable Express (ASE), NTT Com’s new undersea cable which ensures high network reliability and greater data transfer speeds. The facility is built over an area of 5,000 square meters hosting around 2,500 racks. Many hi-tech companies are already relying on the data center facilities offered by NTT Communications.
Customers can visit company’s website to know more about the Singapore Serangoon Data Center. The second facility built in Malaysia has just recently started working on 26th April, 2012. A prime reason for establishing a data center in Malaysia is that electricity costs are low with availability of stable infrastructure. Customers can also get more information about the different NTT Communications data centers.
