OpenLogic Adopts Rackspace Cloud Tools

OpenLogic, a company specializing in cloud services, has partnered with Rackspace by joining the Cloud Tools Program with it. The joint venture has enabled the deployment of CloudSwing on the Rackspace Cloud. The platform serves as common ground for business partners and autonomous developers, to utilize Rackspace Cloud Tools.

OpenLogic CloudSwing is a platform-as-a-service cloud service, which specializes in providing cost-efficient and effective customization of technology stacks. Users are also privy to OpenLogic’s more than 600 open source offers. Additionally, the move has enabled the company to make its very own Paas, by installing already configured stacks above their Cloud Servers.

Users of the CloudSwing have much to benefit from the merger as well. Not only will they be able to monitor and supervise installed features in the Rackspace Cloud, directly from the Dashboard, but they can also keep track of the costs they have incurred.

According to the senior manager of the Strategy and Corporate Development department of Rackspace, “The Rackspace Cloud and CloudSwing are both built to handle the highly-flexible and on-demand environments that enterprises need to deploy in the cloud. We welcome OpenLogic into our Cloud Tools community.”
