They have online tools that are free of charge or cost only a small fee. Some of the free online tools are Country IP Range, Traceroute, RFC Lookup Wake-on LAN, and others. Visit http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools to use all the online tools in a single page.
2. Who is Hosting This? (www.whoishostingthis.com)
With this tool, you’ll know the hosting provider of a particular website. Just type in the URL and you’ll get immediate results. It might seem like a simple online tool but if you know that a website never has any performance problems like down-time or sluggish connection, it would be a good idea to use the same hosting provider.
3. Netcraft (www.netcraft.com)
Netcraft is a web analytics company. It provides a wide range of online services from uptime monitor to anti-phishing. The drawback of using Netcraft is that their information can be out-of-date. You have to peruse information and documents given on the site.
