On Monday, SoftLayer (www.softlayer.com)- web hosting company, announced the launch of apps for Windows phone 7 and mobile HD app for iPad.
These apps comprise of account and server control features, SoftLayer stated in the press release.
SoftLayer added, the apps offer faster navigation and an improved interface.
According to Nathan Day, chief scientist for SoftLayer, “Our mobile app for Windows Phone 7 and Mobile HD app for the iPad extend our suite of management clients to the mobile platforms our customers use most, and that includes Android as well. We’re already hard at work, innovating the next versions of these apps so our customers can take advantage of even more features and functionality. We focus on giving customers total control over their infrastructure. This means being able to manage your services when, where, how, and on whatever device you want.”
The apps have the ability to track server performance, bandwidth usage, accounting info and support tickets; moreover, they can be downloaded free from iTunes, Marketplace and Microsoft store.
The PR states, the iOS versions of the app have been improved and updated.
This October, SoftLayer is all set to launch in Singapore.
