Since its foundation in 2001, Hosting 365 has been providing hosted services from 2 secure data center in Dublin area. Even in this short span of time, the company could lead the way in Web-based tools to support customer self-service. It was honored as one of Ireland’s fastest growing technology company in the recent ‘Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50’.
Ed Byrne, general manager, Hosting 365 expects that SunGard’s world-class solutions will ensure that customers have more flexible solutions to let their businesses revolutionize and grow. This will ensure that SunGuard retain their leadership position in Ireland.
This acquisition will permit SunGard to access a new geographic market and prove cloud computing expertise, while Hosting 365 can extend its product range with managed IT services, business continuity and disaster upturn solutions. SunGard is the first business community to secure certification against BS 25999 standards. The customer-commitment that Hosting 365 has proved in the last years led them to grab atop portion of the market. This commitment in turn would now let SunGard attain greater goals.
