The vision of Google is to provide assistance for Spring Java apps on Google App Engine. Through this support, cloud applications would be created, run and controlled more conveniently. All this effort is to provide easiness to developers where they will be able to create Spring applications by using Eclipse-based SpringSource Tool, and can deploy them directly to Google App Engine, VMware vSphere environment or VMware vCloud partner clouds.
