However, this is less likely to be the case especially as Lamar Smith, the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee removed DNS blocking from the act on Friday. PIPA, on the other hand, still retains DNS blocking as one of its principles.

Blogging giant WordPress.com launches Dot-ME domain options

WordPress.com, the popular blogging site, made an official statement on Friday, announcing the addition of a new Dot-ME (.ME) domain name option for its users.
