FastHosts, the UK web host provider, issued a press release on Thursday, announcing the launch of its two newest servers as a part of its FastHosts Dedicated Server series.
The servers, FastHosts DS710i and DS910i, are fitted with the latest Sandy Bridge chipset and Intel Core i5 Processors, allegedly enhancing functionality; allowing them to offer “faster processing speeds and supreme reliability” as per official statements.
FastHosts says that the additions are compatible with both CentOS 6 system and Plesk 10, offering increased storage capacity, RAM and RAID1 protection. The company’s Dedicated Server range makes use of hottest Intel technology in order to provide “guaranteed access to unlimited bandwidth”, promising to deliver “powerful, energy-efficient performance.”
The Fasthosts DS710i server features “8GB RAM, 2.8 Ghz Intel Quad Core i5 processor and 2 x 1000GB RAID protected hard disk drives.” The server is available starting at $101/month (plus VAT) for the first 2 months, and $203/month (plus VAT) thereafter.
Meanwhile, the Fasthosts DS910i starts from $133/month (plus VAT) for the initial 2 months, and then requires subsequent monthly payments of $266 (plus VAT). The DS910i is fitted with a “12GB RAM, 3.1 Ghz Intel Quad Core i5 processor and 2 x 2000GB RAID protected hard disk drives,” offering “even higher performance.” Subscribers can also avail the two packages at discounted prices by entering into annual contracts with FastHosts.
FastHosts, at present provides users with “50GB of free Online Backup for Windows servers.” The company allegedly hosts all its data “at highly secure state-of-the-art UK data centers, receiving limitless bandwidth and 100Mbps high-speed virtual data pipe from FastHosts Internet” as per official accounts.
The company is seemingly dedicated towards delivering top-notch service, offering 24-hour technical support from the UK – online, and over the phone. “Our latest servers have been added to ensure we keep ahead of the competition,” insisted by Steve Holford, Marketing Director at Fasthosts Internet. “Our fusion of Intel Sandy Bridge Quad Core processors with world-class UK infrastructure means Fasthosts servers will be an excellent proposition for demanding users,” he concluded.
