UK2 Group Finally Setups CloudLinux throughout its Web Hosting Products

UK2Group, world renowned web hosting provider has setup CloudLinux operating system across its entire web hosting brands after a long hard work. The organization is offering number of web hosting brands including UK2.net, WingSix, US2.net, WestHost, midPhase, Doable and VPS.net to clienteles all around Europe and US. The support of Linux OS would enable UK2 Group to offer more stable and reliable services to its customers with enhanced performance.

“UK2 Group is very pleased with the results of the deployment,” UK2 Group chief executive officer Ditlev Bredahl said in a statement. “CloudLinux allows us to improve stability and efficiency of our shared hosting platform. It virtually eliminates downtime for our servers caused by client’s overloading the server. It also gives us good visibility into which clients are using the majority of resources, allowing increased management capabilities and higher density. We’ve been particularly pleased with the improvements we’ve seen on our large OnApp based cloud infrastructure in VPS.NET.”

CloudLinux works on Lightweight Virtual Environment (LVE) technology which has capability to put restriction on the number of resources. Unlike virtualization technology, LVE is easy to use and manage. The basic feature of this kernel-level technology is to control CPU resources on every server, thus allowing every shared server adequate resources to run different processes independently without putting any other user account in trouble. This enhances the performance of the server, thus making it more stable.

UK2Group had been working hard to simplify the VPS cloud hosting processes. Through LVE, VPS.net has provided excellent resource management solutions to speed up every user account on the server. Lightweight Virtual Environment technology works by limiting the amount of resources and ensure each hosting account has enough resources to work speedily.

“Cloud Linux understands the needs of hosting providers in delivering secure, reliable, high performance services to their clients,” Cloud Linux founder and CEO Igor Seletskiy said in a statement. “With our proven technology, shared hosting providers like UK2 Group can achieve a higher level of service and support for their customer base.”

By this deployment, UK2Group now has the capability to manage CPU demands of every single account. LVE ensures that an individual site works within its resources, thus does not put the whole server down. Seletskiy spoke in detail and highlighted the goals and benefits this LVE technology can offer to businesses.

In an effort to provide more security and reliability for shared hosting servers, CloudLinux has released latest version of LVE with name SecureLVE. The new extension is an application-level solution to offer every hosting user a virtual environment in which he cannot see the activity performed by other users. This in turn makes it very difficult for hackers to steal or deface any important data from the shared web server.
