Another web hosting provider which is recognized as a Canadian company, the iWeb Group, made known on its Monday announcement its new director, named René Bousquet and of course, its financial results on its first quarter which just recently ended in December 31, 2009.
The company experienced a 19 percent profit increase compared to the same quarter of the prior fiscal year, from a $6.1 million revenue gives off a shocking and breath taking $7.2 million with more than a million dollar difference.
Another revelation is that the company’s net income also intensified. Due to the unrecognized exchange loss because of a long term debt, the aftermath took a $1,248,000 loss which was reported in the previous year. But because of the spontaneous rising of the company’s income, they were able to recover $180,000.
The report included that iWeb also verified an announcement which was made last month that they already possess their large fourth data center that accommodates a total capacity of 20,000 servers.
An additional information which was also reported about the director, Bousquet, is that he was in an alliance with Trio Capital, a private investment firm and after this, he was working with TerreStar Solutions which he was recently selected as a chief commercial officer.
He began his career where he was allocated to work in market research and strategic management at Price Waterhouse where he gave his whole attention to retailing and consumer behavior .
In the past, he also held a variety of positions at Microcell Telecommunications, involving vice president of marketing and vice president of finance. Pursuing the company’s attainment by Rogers, he was selected to be the president of Fido.
