Web Hosting Provider T-Systems Expects Expansion from Singapore Market


 

T-Systems, a Deutsche Telekom’s corporate customer branch, released a statement on Tuesday, saying that it expects a much higher demand for enterprise application and infrastructure service from the market in Singapore. Singapore in recent times has experienced a great growth. Tata Communications, a web hosting company made an announcement about its intentions to invest $357 million in Singapore for the next four years. A total of $38 million were also invested by IBM in a latest IBM Asia Pacific Cloud Computing Data center in Singapore.

The press release by the company states that T-System hopes a development in its systems integration business portfolio, because it recently grew the demand for business intelligence, enterprise resourcing planning and applications management and modernization solution. Cloud computing services are also a part of T-Systems offerings.

“As businesses continue to grow, CIOs are addressing more complex challenges than ever before. They are expected to establish value-based innovative technology initiatives like scalable information and communication technology services ‘on demand’ that can cope effectively with rapid business changes,” Uwe Schlager, managing director, T-Systems in Singapore said in a statement. “CIOS are further challenged to manage situations where maintenance is only 20 percent of the job, but absorbs 80 percent of effort and budget. This makes it critical for CIOs to secure strong foundations for outsourced IT services, and work with the right innovative partner capable of meeting stringent business and IT requirements.”

According to T-Systems, the number of SI services use has grown ever since the government’s stability brought the attention of many multinational companies for investments.

“T-Systems will benefit from the renewed demand as a service integrator for customers, providing relationship management at all stages of the transformational outsourcing process,” Schlager added. “Beyond simply providing a service, we work closely with customers in both the infrastructure and services domains to achieve a customised, best-of-breed solution that enables enterprises to become more agile, competitive and increasingly ready to capture new market opportunities.”
