Zayo Ends Fiber Build in Wyoming based Data Center

Zayo, a reputable colocation provider revealed on Monday that operations regarding the installation of fiber build in its Green House Data Facility had come to an end. Situated in Wyoming, the multi-tenant Type 2 data center offers a wide range of facilities besides colocation like managed storage and servers, firm and committed infrastructure, offsite backup and disaster recovery.

Run by recycled energy using the wind, the facility remains true to its environment friendly nature by using 40% less than other data centers. Besides this, Zayo has plans to offer IP transit facility to Green House Data. The move will enable efficient on-net connectivity for its large number of tenants and the states it offers services to.

“Now data center operators like Green House Data have a single-source option for metro and long haul connectivity, with deep coverage across the country,” says David Howson, president of Zayo Bandwidth. “Expansion of data center connectivity is an important initiative for Zayo to provide customers on-net access to the cloud-based content they need.”

The move will also enable Green House Data tenants access to the colocation provider’s dark fiber, private line and Ethernet services.
